Peanut Butter Granola


Peanut Butter Granola

Layer a cookie sheet with foil and set aside.  Turn oven to 350 degrees.


4 cups Oatmeal 1 cup coconut 1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts (optional) 1 cup peanut butter 1 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup of butter Tbls. corn syrup


Mix oatmeal, coconut, and peanuts in large bowl and set aside.  In a sauce pan, put butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup and melt it all together on medium heat, stir constantly.  Once mixture is melted, pour over dry ingredients and stir together.

Pour mixture on to cookie sheet, spread it out, and flatten it out with a spatula.  Bake at 350 degrees for 8 minutes, take it out of the oven, stir it, flatten it down again and put in back in oven for another 8 minutes.  Take out of oven and let cool completely before eating.

Banana Bread

Take 2/3 c. of milk, add 1 T. f white vinegar into it, stir and let sit for at least  minutes to make buttermilk you will need. 2 egss unbeaten 1 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. shortening 3 c. flour 1 1/2 t. baking soda 3 mashed bananas buttermilk from above

Beat eggs, sugar, and shortening until smooth with mixer.  Add remaining, ingredients and beat well.  Pour into 2 greased loaf pans for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
