Favorite Recipes

With fall around the corner I can't help but look up some of my favorite recipes and find new ones for the fall. I have tried to be better about planning out my meals for our family and even finding some new ones to try. One of my favorite fall recipes is pork chops with stuffing and apples. I normally make this dish when I go to an apple orchard and pick fresh apples to go on top of the pork chops. The recipe is really simple: Pork Chops with Apples and Stuffing:

-4-5 boneless pork chops

-1 box of stuffing

-1 can of apple pie filling (I like to throw in some fresh apple slices with this.)

-1 T. of oil

Brown the pork chops in oil over medium-high heat. Meanwhile, prepare stuffing according to the package directions. Spread the apples and pie filling into a greased 9x13" pan. Place the pork chops on top of the filling and spoon the stuffing on top of the pork chops. Cover and bake at 350 for 35 minutes. Uncover and bake for 10 minutes longer. Then, ENJOY!

The perfect Fall drink (next to hot cider of course) in my opinion would be this Caramel Vanilla Frap:
-Get a bunch of ice cubes , maybe 2 cups.
-1 cup of fresh brewed Folgers caramel drizzle coffee
-1/3 packet of vanilla pudding powder
-Splash of milk.
Blend on Frappe setting if available. Top with whip cream and cinnamon. I just poured mine into a regular coffee cup, but a regular glass cup would probably be better.
A few other fall-ish things on my to do list is:
-pumpkin patch
-s'mores on our fire pit
-make apple pie
-football party
-make stew
-apple picking
-maybe even try to be crafty and do something with leaves with the kids!
