Lent Reflection: March 16th


“And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.’ --Matthew 25:40

Take a look around you; the presence of Jesus is hidden in the sick, the hungry, the thirsty, the naked, and the imprisoned. As we go through our daily lives we can often witness this first hand, and how often do we stop to lend a hand? Upon reading this passage I am immediately drawn to the corporal and spiritual works of mercy which give us ways to demonstrate charity toward others.
